One of my top favourite restaurants in Switzerland. The location is very special, the isolation in the forest and magnificent views over the valley are hard to match. The food is excellent and they have a comprehensive wine menu.

Our party of 3 were a bit hesitant to walk the 10 minutes from town to Waldhues Bodmen but the view, the service and the food was absolutely worth the effort. The lamb was outstanding and the 'platte' (a selection of different meats) were excellently prepared. The Rioja Reserve wine a fantastic compliment. Our waitress was well trained, knew her... More

We had just finished an eight hour hike from Gspon and had to convince our tired legs and teenage daughters to walk the 20 minutes to this place. To say that it was well worth it would be a gross understatement. The ambiance, food, portion size, and service were all amazing. My wife had the Rosti, the girls had fondue,... More

Traditional food offer but very tasty. Served in huge portions , I personally could never finish. this is the warmest place in town. Traditional chalet construction , surrounded by beautiful nature & lots of farm animals.

What an occasion. Book your table in advance and ask for the table next to the rabbits. I did not exactly know what to expect but we got to the place after a 15 - 20 min walk from Saas Fee, with the snow falling around us. Luckily the pathway is lit all the way from Saas Fee so we... More

This place is worth the little trek up the hill - gorgeous views and the road is very easy. The restaurant has a lovely terrace overlooking the valley which must be amazing on a spring day! The food was also amazing. I had a beef fillet with rosti potatoes and bechamel sauce - it all just melted in my mouth.... More

The place is located just outside the town, after a 20 min walk through a lightened comfortable track through the forest. A spacious room hosts many tables, where the guests are settled by a fast, efficient and courteous staff (booking is highly recommended, especially in high season). The menu comprises Swiss courses as well as continental, and the food quality... More

Been before, will go again! Seriously worth the lovely 20 minute walk through the woods. Food, atmosphere and service very special. I had the feather fly stag tonight - it was fantastic. I've a stone pot before (very good) and the hot stone steak. Everyone's meals were enjoyed. Children's menu as well as the small animals to visit. Very special.

Thank Caroline G
