Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Everything was disappointing. The service was awful, not one of the waiters was knowledgeable or efficient. We had to repeatedly ask for things. The food was terrible, there were 6 of us and all were disappointed. We weren't served at the same time. Some of...the order was missing. I had 'scampi grillé aux basilic et citron' CHF34. It consisted of 4 scampi a basil leaf and a slice of lemon! Everything was extremely over-priced. The restaurant itself is dated and in need of refurbishment. This was once a good restaurant but the standard of food and service has slipped and it's extremely over-priced. We will never go back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.More

We went there for Easter and had the set menu which consisted as a starter of a choice between an asparagus dish (delicious) and smoked fera (an acquired taste), lamb as a main course with potatoes and vegetables (out of this world) and ending with...a strawberry and mascarpone mille-feuilles (sumptuous). The service was excellent as usual.More

The place hits perfect balance between casual atmosphere and phenomenal food (and wine list to match). I had chick that they make on open fire. By the end of dinner, you will want to serenade the chick. I would recommend having menu in english; I...think there are many international guests.More

Very enjoyable dinner with fresh fish and a delicious vegetarian starter of stuffed vegetables. Professionally served with a knowledgeable wine lady. Would have liked more choice of dessert but all in all a delightful dinner

Used to be a good place to eat but on a recent visit after an absence of several years we found that standards have dropped.!! The actual dining room area is very pleasant with a good atmosphere. However the starter of frogs’ legs was really...small with a very large price (CHF35) and was followed by a rack of lamb which lacked taste and was accompanied by a gratin dauphinois which was undercooked and very liquid - in fact inedible. This was all that was served - no vegetables or salad. All in all there were no outstanding dishes served to our party and the wines are somewhat on the pricey side. To summarize at an average price of CHF120 per diner for lunch this restaurant is definitely on the expensive side and we will not be returning in the near future.!!More

We recently had lunch here and must report that this restaurant which was particularly good in the past has definitely seen better days. The portion of frog's legs is small ( 6 or 7 in total ) which for CHF35 is not to be recommended....The carre d'agneau was equally disappointing and was cooked initially over an open fire in the restaurant. The portions were small and the meat was tough and had little or no taste.!! As for the gratin dauphinois it was not properly cooked and was swimming in liquid. The dining room has a good ambiance but that is about the only positive point. We will definitely not return and with prices in excess of CHF120 per person - it is very expensive for what was served at our table.More

Auberge du raisin is located in a middle age house that once was a City Hall. This was our first week end after this Covid nightmare, therefore we are super happy for the hotel reopening! Warm welcome, nice room, we had dinner in the hotel...restaurant and it was really good. My only remarks is for the Sunday when we were asked to have breakfast in another hotel not of the same level. I understand that this a difficult moment but I would have preferred to have breakfast at our hotel. In any case nice stay in wonderful Lavaux .More

We have stopped here many times for a coffee or hot chocolate, for lunch and for dinner. No matter the reason, it’s always great. Most recently we were walking around Cully on a chilly Monday morning. Voilà - it was right in front of us...and we had coffee and croissants. Always delicious. Always accommodating and friendly. They are doing an outside refurbishing at the moment. My grandson was so happy with his sparkling apple juice and croissant.More

Fine dining with an original twist . Using chanterelle and vegetables to paint the fish or the meat dishes . Good wine an excellent warm service . Quiet expensive but worth every penny.

Spent a sumptuous, wonderful night at this little gem on the shores of Lake Geneva. From start to finish we enjoyed perfectly prepared food, great local wines, and kind, professional ambiance. This cute, little inn has elegant furnishings and well-appointed rooms as well. It is...well worth a little detour while visiting Lausanne.More

We had a very friendly welcome at the door despite being somewhat late for our reservation. Service was slow as they seemed to be understaffed as the restaurant was full but it didn’t matter and just added to the relaxed atmosphere. Wide choice of dishes...and wines. Food was plentiful and tasty. Would go back as often in the area.More
