Generous pies with mash and veg. Extra gravy offered. Very filling so no pudding required. Homely atmosphere with customer's well behaved dogs patiently waiting beside the dining tables. Fabulous fire with copper pans setting an unique character to the pub. Room for improvement with service....More

Visited this pub whilst staying in the local area. We were given a warm welcome. We'd booked a table for Sunday lunch and the roasts were amazing. The vegetarian carrot Wellington was exceptional. Unfortunately we were too full for dessert but they all sounded delicious!

Very cosy pub with friendly staff and some great pub food. Portions are very generous. A good menu which changes in the evenings. And large open fires to give you that extra cosy feel.
