Came in a group of 5, booked by another in the group my first time. Didn't have starters and I ordered the Chicken & Leek pie. It was a proper homemade pie with shortcrust pasty and not in a pot with a puff pastry lid...More

Good quality lunch menu. Lots of appealing dishes to choose from. Big portions- you won't need a starter or dessert. Fair prices

A great party atmosphere. The marquee was warmed with heaters. Bar outside was well stocked. BBQ food was lovely although it did need lighting outside as we were using torches to choose food. Staff service was prompt in clearing tables and glasses. Good value for...More

Clearly under new management. This used to be a favourite place to eat. But the service is slow (50 minutes with no one else ahead in the queue) and the food poor. The parmos were soggy and unappetising. A chicken pie had undercooked pastry. And...More

Came here for lunch as a treat on a school day. The lunch menu is excellent value for money. We had the lamb cutlets and a half-parmo, both less than £10 each and delicious, generous portions. My husband had a great pint of beer which...More
