Awesome mountain spot for lunch. My wife and I arrived around 11:30 for lunch and had our pick of seating on the outdoor deck. The wine list is spectacular (not a spot for draft beers or cocktails). The lunch menu and food is fantastic as...More

Very popular place to enjoy a glass of wine on the mountain. Difficult to find a table or place to sit. Pricey but fun and a great view.

This is such a lovely spot with great views. Good (but ridiculously expensive) wine list. We enjoyed a great cured meat platter and a glass of wine and moved on. I guess if it were cheaper, people would stay all day.

After a charming snowcat ride up the mountain, we were greeted by handsome young men with champagne. Our whole dining Experience at 12000 feet was amazing. Our servers Daniel and Ulli were informative and extremely entertaining. Luke, our sommelier, poured us vintage Barolo with dinner...More

This place was built for one reason. This place is here for people with very deep pockets, and for those who don't know the value of a dollar.

The ride up for dinner in a "romantic snow cat" was anything but romantic. The smell of diesel fumes lingered as we crammed in tightly to the tiny bench seating. The "luxurious" blankets were faux fur matted down and gross. I tried not to touch...More

Just wine and beer as we were told. But my server said there was grappa and port. Both (I guess) technically wine.

I am pretty sure they do not since it is mid-mountain and only accessible to skiers for lunch.

They have meats, nuts, salads with currents...they likely could accommodate your special diet requests.

Originally a private retreat built on a historic mining claim, this new addition to Telluride’s award-winning restaurants is a quaint European hütte perched near the top of Gold Hill. With hand-hewn beams and furniture crafted from reclaimed wine barrels, Alpino Vino provides a high alpine ambience and is reminiscent of restaurants found throughout the Dolomites of Northern Italy. Inside, a warm and inviting atmosphere, complete with a wood burning fireplace, stone floors and exposed wood beams, provides a perfect retreat from the slopes.Situated at 11,966’, Alpino Vino offers fantastic views of the Wilson Range. The expansive multi-tiered deck is a truly unique spot to enjoy a glass of wine with its European teak furniture, coveted daybed and comfortable sheepskin throws. An outdoor wine bar offers a spectacular setting for a midday escape. To visit Alpino Vino during the ski season, take Gold Hill Express (Lift 14) and turn left off the lift to ski down See Forever to our front door.Come enjoy the unique experience that is Alpino Vino!
