What a great find, lovely atmosphere, attentive staff amazing food, even the local's are welcoming, back 'garden' stunning, and of course reasonably priced. we started with olives and garlic bread - loads of olives, followed by the specials steak, black pudding goats cheese, steak prawns...and garlic, roast pork and salmon followed by sticky toffee pudding with homemade custard and cheeseboard, lovely chutney and nuts good wine selection - no rush, after the meal we sat outside really enjoyed our time very chilled. highly recommend this restaurantMore

We opted for the private dining experience in the cabin as part of a 60th birthday celebration. Lisa and Becky looked after us prior to the day, and their team were fabulous, attentive and helpful throughout our day. We pre-ordered the food, and on the...day it did not disappoint. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal and the overall experience was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a dinner or a function.More

This is my mother in law's favourite restaurant and we come every time we visit. The food is always fantastic and the staff are super friendly. The owner has a strong presence and is checking in on the customers. The menu could be made a...little simpler by maybe being in a book form instead of sheets of paper. They have a great vegan menu also gluten free options. The atmosphere and interior are very warm welcoming and remaind a firm family favourite after 10 years.More

We recently visited to celebrate my dad’s 70th birthday and we booked the cabin. Booking was easy and straightforward. The cabin is perfect for family get togethers as having your own private space (especially when you have children in your party) is ideal. The kids...can wander around and be as noisy as they like without annoying any other diners! The service was really friendly and attentive and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. The food was delicious and everyone really enjoyed it. We will be back!More

Food is way too expensive for what you get. They’re charging the price you pay in a top city centre restaurant for average food. Food isn’t bad but nothing more than decent pub food. Just short of £40 for a fillet is joke and £5.50...for a BOTTLE of Budweiser! Staff all really helpful. Booking system doesn’t work as we booked cabin but was double booked when we arrived.More

Exemplary food and service. Never had a bad or even average meal here. Spot on every time. And if the weather is good the outside area overlooking the canal is one of the nicest spots in the whole area
