Small Hotel that provided a bit of fun during our stay in Whataroa with some very uninhibited locals dressed in strange and colourful clothing for a dart match. Friendly staff and patrons. Good night out..

The pub serves meals in the evening and the food is fine and reasonably priced. This is not a first class restaurant but you won't find that in Whataroa. What you will find is pleasant, honest service and decent food and wine or beer.
A great country pub on the West Coast. We stayed the night. Food was great. We had both dinner and Breakfast while there. Rooms are basic but comfortable.
Great experience, excellent meals, friendly owner operators, whitebait meal and the steak was cooked to perfection. Wish we could have stayed longer :)
