Just wanted to pop a quick word on as the Hind accommodated us on a rainy night when a night at the camp site was not appealing. There were 13 of us and they allowed us to use their private dining room which also had...a skittle alley which adults and children loved - all at no cost. They could not have been more welcoming and we had a great night with some good food. Fabulous.More

We had the pleasure of being introduced to The Hind on a Land Rover 4x4 weekend in a field close by via Surrey 4x4. Couldn't have enjoyed the experience any more. Adrian and Emma were amazing and the food looked top notch. Roast potatoes and...crackling came out mid afternoon on Sunday which saw us through till teatime. Highly recommended.More

This is a great local pub. We were travelling through and stayed overnight in their car park. We ate and drank in the pub. Emma and Adrian were so welcoming and could not do enough for us. Whilst they have a dinning room we ate...in the bar with the locals. Fabulous friendly, traditional atmosphere. Thank you so much guys we certainly recommend!More

Came down to stay with family from Manchester in musbury at Airbnb, booked a table at the hind, we had a young puppy with us and this was her first time in a pub! The staff were excellent, we explained and they allowed us to...move into a large private dining room away from the bar to settle the dog down. They brought her treats and really made us feel welcome. The local real ales were plentiful and very very well kept. The food was absolutely delicious, all clearly home made, good portion sizes and all deliciously cooked and presented. The licensee and his partner were excellent hosts, attentive polite and very helpful. So good we booked a table the next morning for breakfast, which was also absolutely delicious with fantastic local produce, the eggs were the most beautiful golden colour and tasted amazing, the he excellent breakfast was in my opinion exceptionally good value given the evident high quality of the produce. Wow!!!! Never judge a book by its cover!! We've been to this pub several times ut never had a meal here. This particular Sunday we decided to do exactly that. Thank god we did. Beef roast and all the trimmings fir £13? Yep!!!! Superb quality...sliced Beef Rump cooked perfectly. All the trimmings consisted of Parsnip, swede, fine beans, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower and roast potatoes 😍7......yes 7 different vegetables. It was so good that we went for the desert risking a gut bust but it was fabulous. Please, stop and try it. We'll done everyone at the HindMore

We went there for breakfast, it was excellent, very nicely cooked, fresh ingredients and presented very well. Coffee was nice too. The owners are pleasant and attentive. Going back again soon. Would highly recommend

What a fabulous find absolutely love this pub they were only doing pork baps for the band but great quality pork will come back for a roast! Wonderful landlord and landlady will be returning as soon as possible.

Fab family meal for 4. Amazing chips! Generous portions and even a treat for the dog. Welcoming host. Would not hesitate to return.

As a coeliac it’s SO lovely to find somewhere which totally understands GF. I had beer-battered cod and chips which was so fresh and crunchy. Double-treat to be able to have chocolate fudge brownie for dessert! My hubby had Sunday Roast beef which looked very...tasty - he said it was delicious so I’m trying the GF version next time. Very reasonable prices and very good portions too. Totally dog-friendly (we love seeing happy pooches) Highly recommend.More

We always enjoy good, fresh cooked food at the Hind. The staff are lovely and welcoming, we can take our dog and our grandchildren and feel welcomed. The only downside is we can only go when we are on holiday.
