Tried to eat in restaurants in Lesconil one Sunday and they were all full but driving out of the car park saw an umbrella and seats a little way away and we found the Cantine de Mer or Tara. We found a fish restaurant with...More

We visited on a Wednesday lunch time and the place was very busy but we managed to get a table outside, I had fish of the day, it was very fresh and tasty and served with rice and a nice sauce, vegetables were puréed and...More

The interior was much more quaint compared to the more rustic shack on the outside. Fresh, well prepared, un-fussy food. The young man on duty was, greeting/seating/taking orders/serving food/serving drinks/wiping down tables/taking payments and much, much more and all with professional ease. We did not...More

Need to book in advance to ensure to get a table. Pretty good cuisine but waiting time far too long and expensive

Lesconil is not on most people's list of places to visit but we went purely by chance six years ago. There we saw Tara's and decided to go back there come lunchtime. There were very few people around at the time and yet, when we...More

What an amazing little place. All the staff was super friendly and efficient. The food was fantastic, not a lot of choices but definitely quality over quantity. Portions were very good and the taste... oh boy, that was something else. The chef came out regularly...More
