This was our fourth visit to Twisted Lemon and sadly likely our last. My spouse is on a salt restricted diet and ordered the Poor Boy sandwich and golden french fries. The fries were so salty she send them back and asked for another order...More

After hearing positive things about this restaurant and food, unfortunately we found the food very disappointing. The trout was so salty and overcooked, it was inedible and the strip steak was also highly seasoned, which obviously detracted from the taste of the meat. The rolls...More

Great food. They really treat you like you're at a high class restaurant. Don't go here if you want to spend less than $30 a person. Good selection of wine! I had their trout. It was cooked perfectly, but a little too salty. Not kid...More

Chef Dan has created an impressive goto destination for fine dining. The atmosphere is cozy with maximum seating of around 50 in the restaurant. Open Table booking is convenient and you will want to have a reservation going to this restaurant. Sophisticated cocktails, interesting beer...More

On a night when it's not busy the chef should have known that they were missing a main ingredient in a menu choice at 7PM,and it shouldn't take 10 minutes to figure it out. The red pepper bisque was amazing though.

Four of us visited for lunch today and enjoyed the visit. We started out with a small bowl of deep fried wonton chips with lemon-pepper seasoning that was placed on out table to give us something to nibble on. Very tasty! One of our party...More

Forty years of combined experience in the hospitality industry has taught the husband and wife team of Chef Dan Megna and Laurie Lilliman much about food and wine. The driving force behind Twisted Lemon is that, "fine dining is great food and great service, and is an experience that all should enjoy".

And so began the concept of "redefine dining", only bringing in those pieces of the industry that they love into Twisted Lemon's positive philosophy.

Located in the picturesque villiage of Cayuga, Haldimand County, Ontario, Twisted Lemon is described as a "hidden gem", which now attracts a faithful following of 'flavour junkies' and experienced diners from far and wide.

Featuring a lively open-concept kitchen in a tasteful and eclectic ambiance, Chef Dan Megna's dishes are well thought out in their design. Careful consideration is put into each dish, intended to illuminate all of the senses and offer depth and balance in flavour and texture.

In addition to a core menu, Twisted Lemon offers seasonal and locally inspired cuisine, including exciting monthly features, house-baked breads and pastries, tasting menu's on Tuesday's and Wednesday's and a prix fixe menu every Thursday evening. Chef Dan Megna doesn't try to be like anyone else. Here you will find quality food and service that stands on its own merit.

Mission. Passion. Humour. Balance. There is a great story here....
