This place has been recommended to me by my parents. Whenever they are in the area, they make sure to come by this restaurant at least once either for breakfast, lunch or diner. I was on my way back from seing the Mount Saint-Joseph and decided to stop for lunch and was not disapointed. At 1pm, the place was busy... More

You must taste the fish and chips! Best I've ever tasted. The cod is fantastic, so was the orange butter scallops. A must try!!!

My best friend and I were on our way to Bonaventure and we were warmly encouraged to stop at the restaurant for a fish n' chips. We had a table facing la baie des Chaleurs and the restaurant was warm and cosy, with a lot of attention to details. The owner and his crew take the pace of the maritimes... More

I arrived late in the afternoon but before the busy dinner time. I ordered onion soup, smoked salmon salad and tarte au sucre (maple syrup pie). The soup was very tasty and not over salted as is too often the case. It came with home-made buns - excellent. The smoked salmon was very nicely presented with an in-house dressing. The... More

Magnificent view of Bay des Chaleurs, very good food and choice of local beer, owner is friendly. Service was slow given there were only 3 tables taken. Would go back. Slightly pricey.

We thoroughly enjoyed the food, drink, views, service and atmosphere at Bouts D"Ligne. I had the Fish Soup, Nicoise style like the chef's Mamans. Fish and chips were also fresh and delicious. They serve the local microbrewery's (Le Naufrageur), try the Blonde, must use Belgian yeast, outstanding! Situated just across the street from the waterfront, beautiful views of the Baie... More

8 of us had dinner here and very much enjoyed it. The fish and chips were very good - I loved the round cut potatoes that were perfectly done. The scallops were EXCELLENT!! The English abilities were moderate, but better than my minimal French, and there were a couple of our party that were pretty good in French. The host... More

We went here for breakfast and really loved it. Although we do not speak hardly any French our friend was from Quebec and spoke French. Our breakfast/brunch was beautifully cooked and the owner had a great sense of humour and so friendly- We had an enjoyable relaxing experience and we would definitely recommend it. We were in Quebec from England... More

We enjoyed all our meals on our trip in the Gaspe except at this restaurant. No English menu and the waiter couldn't speak French. How much does it take to translate a menu? Google translate?! I am not from Canada, I speak four languages but unfortunately not French, so really, I have nothing against the French Language. After another waiter... More
