Classic pub lunch grub: burger, gammon, fish and chips etc. A limited range of mains to choose from though, and if you're a veggie the range is poor compared to other options locally. Cannot complain about the quality of what was delivered and the quantity - really enjoyed the gammon. Great value too - £30 for 3 meals and drinks.... More

The place is very welcoming with a nice wood fire. Food was excellent and the service good. Plenty to eat on the Christmas special menu! Luckily we had enough cash with us... More

After taking a wrong turn saw this little sign saying all day food, we turned round and took a chance. I am so pleased we did 😆. I had the burger, this came with cheese and bacon in a brioche bun. It was accompanied with exceptional homemade onion rings and fabulous chips. A wonderful side salad and coleslaw. I was... More

Having not been to the pub in over 15 years and knowing it had changed hands a number of times since I was unsure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised at the renovation work that had been undertaken since I... My wife and I called in to the Wheatsheaf Inn on a couple of occasions (lunchtime & early evening) for a meal, each time the food was excellent. Well worth a visit if you're in the area. Friendly and helpful staff.

We were just passing and decided to pop in asked if they do food and a friendly staff member said of course all day everyday. Great start we ordered our drinks and noticed that it's cash only at the moment we asked where the closest cash point was and directions were given. We returned and ordered our meal when it... More
