I have been numerous times (50+) to this pub since 1995. Brilliant relaxed old-world atmosphere, great food that regular changes, good beer, fantastic wine and amazing whisky. Consistent performer, even though it changed hands a decade ago. Current manageress has it nailed. As far as country dining pubs go then this ranks amongst the best....and it has done for years.

Visited on a Saturday night for a big family get together meal. We had a private room as there were 15ish of us and had pre ordered our food. Most of us went for 3 course all of which were served with good timings didn’t have to wait too long. Everyone agreed that the food was good and there were... More

What a beautiful find...first time visiting, trading old country pub with log fires, wonky bar and floor boards and full to the rim of all walks of life. Shame we had already eaten! Most definitely returning...

A typical country pub with some added attraction. The food was very good but mainly meat based. Beer and wine was excellent. The pub has a very extensive range of whiskys (240 I seem to remember). Staff were very friendly and service was good.

Friendly staff but very limited menu. No healthy options. Got home and looked at the bill and realised that they had over charged us for the wine. We paid £24.65 for a bottle of wine that was shown as £18. What a shame, locals that certainly won't be returning.

Dear reviewer Thank you for your review. Our menu is created each day from the local ingredients available to us. We run sme 6 starters and some 8-10 main courses each day plus puddings. We cook from scratch and are always more than happy to "go off piste" and alter things to accommodate your exact requirements. As for the overcharge,... More

The Nobody Inn Doddiscombsleigh, Devon, EX6 7PS. A superb main course of Liver and Bacon, beautifully cooked and very enjoyable. However, the overall meal was diminished by the outrageous price of £12.95 for a dessert course of cheese and biscuits. A big mistake in my view.

Thank you for your review. I am delighted you enjoyed your liver and bacon. With regard to the cheese course, I think it is important to point out our cheese offering. We have a cheese menu with 14 different local cheeses represented. The is given to our guests complete with tasting notes and you are invited to choose 6 or... More

Like visiting an old friend, our return trip to The NoBody Inn was eagerly awaited and didn't disappoint. From opening the door to be greeted by the smell and warmth of the open log fire to sitting on the comfy settles under low ceilings and open beams our afternoon was a total success. The menu was reasonably sized and there... More
