Fantastic short break! We stayed for 4 nights in largest of 3 rooms. Lovely view, spotlessly clean. Ate in restaurant each night. Lovely food, great menu. Would especially recommend sticky toffee pudding and steak and kidney pie. Breakfasts were excellent. All in all v good...More

Excellent meal at the Derwentwater Arms. The food was superb: excellent pies and vegetables properly cooked (ie not mushy and tasteless as so often happens). Very nice staff and our dogs were very welcome. Would recommend and would definitely revisit if in the area!More

After years of dining through Derbyshire and Yorkshire I can confidently say this is the Best food in the area , truly sublime with exceptional service and views. Absolute must visit.

Food was delicious with lovely views over the peaks and very friendly staff. Food arrived promptly and the sticky toffee pudding was delicious. Only downside was there were quite a few things unavailable on the menu due to staff shortages. Would definitely visit again if...More

What a fabulous Inn with rooms. The owners and staff are welcoming, friendly, informative. Food great, rooms huge, bed extra comfy...all you could ask for for a weekend break.

Yes we are - we allow dogs in a bar are - there is a jar of dog biscuits on the bar - help yourself!
