We only had drinks and cakes but the service was good and the selection of cakes was amazing...and good size portions. They also have coeliac and vegan menus. We sat outside as one of the group had a dog, so the blankets were greatly received!

We went relatively early for breakfast. Good range of choices, from traditional to healthy. We both had kedgeree, one with fish, one with vegetables. Both very good. The table was a bit small.

This is a delightful small cafe attached to an interesting gift shop and a small bookshop which sells some excellent value children's books at end-of-line prices. The cafe is always busy but we have never NOT managed to find a table. There is a varied...More

Thank you for your feedback. I apologise if you thought the staff member in question was telling you off, she really didn’t mean it to be taken that way, and knowing her well I am surprised she came across this way, she was simply trying...More

We often call in for a coffee and a scone or piece of cake. They have the most eclectic mix of cakes you could ever wish for and the coffee is good - with the filter coffee, you can have top-ups, which is an added...More
