Myself and my partner came here as we were recommended by some friends. We tried twice to get in without booking but both times they were fully booked, by the time we decided to go back for a third time we booked before arriving. We were not disappointed. No wonder it was fully booked the other times, something for everyone!... More

We called at Conway water Gardens and the Dutch Pancake House purely by chance whilst on holiday in the area. After a walk around the Water Gardens(which I have reviewed separately) we decide to try the pancakes, upon entering the building every table had a reserved sign on, we were about to leave when a waitress stopped us and said... The pancake house itself can get very busy to it is advisable to book. This quaint little gem has become a victim of its own success. The nature trail is good for young children, and doesn't cost anything to go in. Subsequently the pancake house is quite expensive to subsidise all this. However they had an afternoon tea offer for... More

What a fabulous place to visit with or without children! Pancakes are delicious and offer a child's deal for £2.99 which is excellent value. The shop/aquarium is great to look around and the nature trail is fab! Don't forget duck & fish food for £1 from the shop. We visit several times a year and have a lovely time!

Fantastic pancakes, with lots of choice: I particularly liked the cheese, mushroom and leek pancakes. I thought it was lovely that small children had their own 'Tiddler menu'. The surroundings were very pleasant and the staff were friendly and attentive. The water gardens are great if you have reduced mobility, as most things are on the same level, with benches... More

We had a lovely time at Conwy water gardens and decided to see what all the fuss was about. Pancakes were very nice, only disappointment was how you were served your food if you decided to eat in the outdoor area because you had your dog with you. Your pancake was plonked in a pizza take away box, then a... More

Aimless, unhelpful and disinterested Staff wouldn't serve us as we hadn't booked despite a) not knowing it was a requirement and b) loads of free tables without reservation signs So can't review the pancakes! As a day out though the rest of the venue really is a waste of time, unless wandering through a garden centre/ aquarium shop/ fishing tackle... More

Visited when staying nearby with family. Pancakes are delicious, good value lunch. We had one medium savoury and one medium sweet one each. Best bit is gluten free flour pancakes for those who need, they were delicious.

I love pancakes, and from sweet to savory this place offers it all! I had a medium butterscotch pancake with ice cream and cream. I was very disappointed that the ice cream cost extra, and I did not really enjoy the cream. However I did enjoy the pancake and it came at a good size as well. Warm and tasty... More

If you have a few hours to kill, then head up the Conwy Valley to this little quiet spot. Prior to feeding take a walk around the nature trail, with a few animals for the kids to feed and see. Then visit the aquarium Finally you can choose from a multitude of pancakes, must admit the savoury ones are my... More
