Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a beautiful location terrace overlooking sea and coast. Enquired if they had a table as we know it is best to book as it's a very popular pub/restaurant, we were welcomed in and a table found for us . Great menu selection great varied...menu vegetarian and normal menu,as it was busy we were advised about steaks a fair wait may happen so we decided to listen and chose to chose accordingly great food really hot and large portion sizes great sweets to local beers to staff amazing food amazing would highly recommend. You can't fault it parking restricted but that is the only faultMore

Booked a table here for an evening meal along with our four well behaved dogs. Nice friendly pub that serves very nice hot meals to go with a very nice pint.. a nice relaxed evening and will return. The only down side to this pub,...restaurant is that it does not have its own car park, however there is enough parking on the road either side..More

This establishment was recommended to us with advice to book. We are glad we did as it was very busy & became aware of casual customers being turned away. Staff were friendly & interacted with customers. My wife had a steak & self the steak...& ale pie & both meals came piping hot. The steak was cooked as requested & tender. The pie crust was very light & the meat chunky & tender. There were a mountain of chips on each of our plates together with peas & onion rings. We could not fault the meals & unfortunately we did not have room for a sweet but those we saw in the cabinet looked very tempting! Yes, would have no hesitation in returning if staying in the area again.More

Yes the outside coverage is partly removed on the sunny terrace. Which is great for outdoor loving people & people with dogs. There is still one cover up which is useful for rainy days.
