Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Returned after a 10 year break to our favourite fish and chip restaurant - smart refit and super friendly team - even better than we can recall - fantastic crispy - battered cod and haddock exceeded our expectations

Traditional fish and chips, plus other fish based dishes, in a modern minimalistic style restaurant. Located in a semi rural area. Excellent fish and chips. Very friendly efficient service. Large car park Will definitely return if we visit this area again

Visited this restaurant on our return from Skomer Island completely by chance. Really really good food and fantastic staff. A very lucky find. Obviously popular with the local community.

I visit Something's Cooking every time I visit Pembrokeshire. it never fails to disappoint - the food, whether that be fish, scampi, chips or battered sausage, is invariably delicious.

We have had take away from here before which was great. This time we decided to book a table in the restaurant. We had a lovely welcome and chose our table. The decor is lovely and clean. I had the scallop and prawn kebabs which...were very tasty. However I think they are expensive for what they are and I think the prawns should be shelled before they are served. You end up with messy fingers and a pile of heads! The waitress was very keen on us having a pudding which we kept saying no to!More

Outstanding! We ordered a Surf and Turf meal as a treat, which did not disappoint! The Fillet Steak, locally sourced, was of the very best standard, a credit to the farmer! The Scallops were outstanding. Lovely service, and a really wonderful and memorable meal, served...on a hot bakestone, to cook as preferred. A banana desert was also enjoyed!More

Everything about the meal was amazing. I ordered the salt and chilli chicken wings for the starter, and just before that we were given some delicious bread rolls. The wings were incredible and had a nice crisp to them. I ordered the medium fish and...chips for the main which was amazing and the only slight problem I could point out was the slightly soggy underside, but other than that the entire meal was incredible. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming.More

Highly recommend the Salt & Pepper Squid and the Cod was delicious. Scallop Kebabs were not worth £23.95 and Hunters Chicken burger was a bit of a let down. Both of these did not live up to the description. Service very friendly, quick and attentive....Bathrooms very clean and better than expected. Restaurant area was clean, pleasant and inviting decor. Not value for money.More

Been here every year for years and excellent. Tried to put this review on their site but couldn’t. My wife was not hungry so I asked waitress if she could just have scampi and she said they could do that. Went to pay bill and...they charged us full price of £16 for a bit of scampi. Women at check out was not willing to sort this out. Very poor. I’ve recommended this place in the past but never againMore

It's great that Something's Cooking does a Gluten Free day on Tuesday. But beware. They will charge you £1.20 for a Gluten Free white roll. Normal brown wheat rolls are not charged as an extra. This is surcharging coeliacs. This is a first for me....Most restaurants are pleased to offer GF bread without an extra charge. We have happily visited Somethings Cooking since the 70's but this might be the last.More
