After hearing that this was the place to be for bake & shark, we chose this place out of the others. There was a line waiting for food, so it took about 10 before we got to order. When we did so, they were almost...More

The food was great as usual, also very fast and friendly service. I have never even disappointed going to Richard’s.

Had the bake and shark and while waiting, tried to get the lay of the land of sauces and toppings. Asked what the white sauce was and was told "it's white sauce" :) Same with all the others. Wound up with a tray and a...More

This outdoor restaurant was laid out quite well, with a line to order, receive your sandwich, then an area to add your trimmings, then someone to wrap it for you. Service was fast. However the sandwich is overrated. The "shark" was heavily breaded so I...More

While visiting my grown kids in Trinidad, we headed to Maracas Bay. I had already heard about the restaurant from my kids because they would not miss an opportunity to eat there when on that side of the island. We all had the Bake and...More

I enjoyed the Shark and Bake--It's just a fish sandwich with lots of delicious toppings. It was weird that there were not any napkins when those delicious toppings made such a mess of my hands.

Located adjacent to Maracas beach, Richard's is one of the better places for shark and bake, fish and chips or shrimp. They have a similar spread to Sam's which includes lettuce, cucumber, tomato, pineapple, cabbage, chutney, tamarind sauce, pepper sauce, chadon beni(culantro) sauce and regular...More

Great bake and shark sandwich with varied selection of condiments and topping. By far the most popular vendor on the beach, probably due to their professionalism so anticipate long lines. Can't wait? Go to Nathalie's next door, she's his sister!

Yes, it's possible. Takes about an hour and change to get there. An hour back. say you spend an hour at Maracas, you still have a 2 hour buffer. Immigration at Piarco can take an hour or more though, so keep that in mind... More
