Best chip shop in Barry. As a fussy eater I am very particular with my food. If I’m paying for someone else to cook my meal, I expect it to taste better than I could prepare at home. Master fryer ticked these boxes. Speaking of...boxes, let’s talk about presentation. The meals came in a box, beautifully presented within. Attention to detail. The chips were tasty and fluffy inside. But the fish…wow…perfect batter, inside the fish was moist and fresh, it tasted spectacular. Mushy peas were the perfect consistency and lovely tar tar sauce witch I had never liked in previous establishments, until now. All hot and definitely not reheated which I can tell. It was made fresh and sent straight out, which is exactly what I want when ordering. On other occasions I have tried their curry sauce, again amazing. Battered sausage, lovely. Whatever you’re ordering you’re going to love. Great job guys.More

Just had large chips, peas and curry, cod and large chips and 2 drinks. Was flippin lovely and so fresh. Good portions and change from a £20 which you don’t get these days!! Definitely visit again when we’re in the area.

£9.00 for a doner kebab on a man bread is extortionate, haven't been there for a while and certainly won't be going back while they charge this price. The kebab was positively average very greasy.

Ohhhh my goodness well worth 5⭐🌟 & searching on TripAdvisor at a last minute for the best chippy near me, up pops this one. I had fish, chips and peas well worth the money certainly be around the waist band by tomorrow 🤣

the food from master fryer among the best but how ever be very very wary if using a card to pay when ordering online as i have been ripped of by global payments com would certainly not recommend using them

Pleased to find it open in these trying times. Social distancing plan worked really well. Took fish and chip to share with wife. Fantastic freshly cooked food, really lifted our spirits.
