There are some good real ales, an extensive wine list which isn't overpriced and an interesting menu. The monkfish kebabs were delicious and the rump steak was perfectly cooked. The bar and dining room are charming and the staff friendly and helpful.

Stopped in for lunch feeling very hungry and rather tired. Received a very warm welcome in a lovely atmosphere. Decided on comfort food of soup- and one of the most exceptional home made bowls arrived - fabulous!
