Called in for lunch. Dale is very pretty. The Griffin seemed to be the only pub. Undergoing improvements at the moment but very friendly and welcoming. Bar lounge is tiny but offers great view of the bay. They specialise in fish and seafood and were prepared to explain the cooking of menu items but my wife and I both opted... More

A traditional water front pub overlooking a peaceful harbour with good atmosphere and food. The fish is excellent. Fantastic characters in the bar and new owners as of April 2017 who are good at their profession. The view to the distance is of Milford Haven, which might be thought not to be a great view but its not intrusive and... More

We had been recommended by two couples to eat here on a visit to Pembrokeshire and were so glad that we did. Starters of hand-dived scallops (we later met the divers) and fish soup were superb -the scallops cooked to perfection. A whole sea bream and a dover sole followed - again, absolutely superb. The fish here is steamed and... More

Staff forgot to enter our order so we had to wait over an hour to eat. Food as good but the fish specials massively overpriced

Brilliant fresh fish menu in this tiny pub. Amazing variety beautifully cooked and presented.Very busy but lovely staff who were all so helpful. Also a stunning lime cheesecake, best I've ever tasted! Make sure you book at busy times as this pub is justifiably busy.

Our first visit to the Griffin. Booked a table for four people. The food was simply wonderful, and the service outstanding. We all chose fish from the specials menu. The waitress was extremely helpful in explaining how the different fish on offer would be cooked. I opted for the Sea bream, steamed in Thai spices. Was absolutely beautiful. We will... More

They had a relatively small menu of fresh fish of the day, but the gurnard and plaice were beautifully cooked and served. The knickerbocker glory dessert was excellent too!

We had been told that one of the best places for dinner in the area is the Griffin Pub, located in Dale - a scenic little village with a lovely bay. The view of Milford Haven may not be to everyone's taste but it is not from every window, which is worth some praise to the owners. It's a cosy... More

A lovely little pub but really a restaurant, so has a nice casual feel appropriate to the location. As expected and promised the fish was delightful. Cooked well but with interesting little twists such as chorizo and another with wasabi sauce. What really impressed however was the fact that they got it right across the board. The vegetables were absolutely... More
