The food here is top notch . The innovation in the sauces is amazing - Cockle and bacon sauce , and a wonderful caramelised orange sauce … all topping the whitest freshest fish. Coupled with a roaring fire and a view of the clouds skudding...across the sea - you could stay here all day !More

First visit here . We both had fish, I had cod and hubby had John Dory. For starters , I had king prawns and hubby had fish soup. We eat out quite a lot and both said it was the best meal we’ve had in...a long time . If you like seafood , you’ll be in for a treat . It isn’t the cheapest , but you get what you pay for , which is good food ,cooked by a talented chef and knowledgeable staff who can tell you about the dishesMore

The food was amazing, the service was outstanding. The waiter went through and explained in detail what was on the fish specials that’s led to us all enjoying simply beautiful food. The mussells were out of this world, best I’ve ever had-that sauce was incredible!...Would go back on a heartbeat!More

Recommended by relations to visit. Unfortunately it was a typically very wet Welsh day. High expectations were not met. Lunch for two with a glass of wine each plus tip was £140…. pretty steep for a pub in Dale, Pembs. Service was good, location OK,...food OK price a stretch too far.More

Absolutely wonderful food, most delicious and thoughtful dishes, with a divine mix of flavours. The Gurnard was probably our most favourite fish desh ever! And my Sea Bass Cerviche was perfect. Simon is an outstanding chef, and Sian is a wonderful host, describing all the...dishes with great enthusiasm. And beautiful views of the harbour from our table. This is a great restaurant with some wonderful fish dishes. My Japanese style plaice was outstanding. The location is right by the sea, with some lovely views. It’s definitely worth a detour to experience this small, independent restaurant with an excellent, self-taught chef. They have...a varied menu but my choice would be with the fish, as that it what makes it special.More

Yes, a gentleman in wheelchair dined at the Griffin when we were there. I would suggest booking to ensure access to the table is unhindered, however the staff are really helpful.
