Excellent traditional bar with great range of drinks including quality real ales. Very reasonably priced and a happy hour early evening so ales only £2.90 a pint and Guinness just over £3. Very friendly hosts and staff, nice friendly regulars. Best drinking pub I've found so far in Truro.

This is a well run, friendly pub, the kind you just don't get anymore - no gimicks, no pretensions, it is just a good old fashioned pub with the added bonus of a fabulous quiz night and a Friday night disco! What more could you want!!!

This pub is like walking down memory lane, a real pub that hasn't been spoilt by a pub/restaurant chain. Great 60's background music accompanied by myself and a couple of the locals singing along. Nice menu and specials board, try the Stilton and Vegetable Crumble, great for vegetarians or people like me who love Stilton. Brilliant pub and good atmosphere,... More

Recommended to visit here, because they sold 'Old Rosie' cider on draught. Well it didn't end there, we were made most welcome by the landlord and a couple of locals. We did the wholepub night there, Bingo, Raffle and quiz. All in all a great evening. Thanks to Brenda, Gary and for making us welcome

Visited the White Heart while shopping in Truro, small town type pub, ran by a husband and wife team. The food was typical pub fare but served and cooked with care.well above average for a town pub

My son and I had an hour to kill before an appointment on a Saturday evening. We had a look in and you have say its not the most glamorous or tarted up place in Truro - it's an honest to goodness old fashioned pub, the kind that seems to be dying out fast and that's it's charm. Truro has... More

Dropped in on Sunday evening for a pint with friends. Been several time before, but this time, really busy. They had live music and the place was full, but the beer was still brilliant, a great pint of London Pride, only wish I hadn't been driving later otherwise would have had more than 1. Not many good pubs about these... More
