Delicious cream tea. Scones were very good . Quaint setting and shops, lovely lady in antique jewellery/trinket shop downstairs. Will definitely return when we next visit Cornwall

Fantastic tea room. Refreshing to be shown to a table and waitress service! Real tea leaves, homemade cakes, service with a smile. Will make it my first port of call when I need a tea break whilst shopping.

Been here with my wife. Lovely victorian setting inside and staff dressed according. Had a coffee and a slice of Victoria sponge. Taste was great.

A very old and interesting building with lots of things to see and in addition a really good and inexpensive lunch with a great cup of tea. Beautiful Victorian-style tea room, where the waitresses are traditionally dressed. So much to choose from the menu. Many styles of fresh leaved tea. Chose the Tregothnan Estate tea, served in vintage china - light and delicate. The Eggs Benedict is a must have and the Toasted Potato served with a tomato sauce, ham and cheese was extremely tasty. Followed by... More

This is a tea/coffee house not to be missed. The food was absolutely superb. The setting was very Victorian. I had a toasted cheese and onion sandwich whilst the wife had a very large slice of egg custard tart, this was cooked to perfection.

We did not get chance to eat here as we ran out of time. But we went inside and was enthralled with the history, antiques, books, furniture and stamps. Wow the chandeliers and staircase! Well worth a visit and we will be back to try a cream tea!

Went to Truro today, went to Charlotte's Teahouse. The waitresses looked very smart and even out of an Agatha Christie novel. Very pleasant surroundings, lots of antique nooks and crannies. Also lots of old and interesting books, something for everyone. Lots of delicious food and starters, also scrummy cakes. Lemon meringue pie, Victoria sponge, fruit cake, bakewell tart, lots more....
