Visited the Pheasant Inn with friends in a large group for lunch. The staff were very helpful and the food was fantastic. Possibly the best sausage and mash I've ever had. A wide variety of food on the menu and a great choice of ales. keyston is a nice little village and a healthy distance from the A14. Inn has... More

A regular Christmas venue for my family of 4. Table in the old restaurant gives a better atmosphere. The restaurant is a thatched cottage in a rural village location - very Christmasy. The food was excellent (as were the Kir Royales and wine) Definitely a good start to the Christmas season

I'm usually a great fan of this place but lunch yesterday left us very disappointed with, not only the food, but the service too. Called a couple of months ago on the way over to Suffolk for a week, easy place to find & not to far off the beaten track. Staff were excellent with a smile @ the ready & a nice warming log fire for a chilly day. Food was superb & well up to the standard expected. Well worth a visit.

Having visited The Pheasant on countless occasions for varied reasons with friends and family I have never been disappointed. From the service to the food itself it is impeccable, tentative and all coupled with a great venue to boot. People have said this place is expensive but the wife and I had 2 courses, 2 wines and 2 beers all... More

Very conveniently situated five minutes off the A14. Attractive country pub with friendly atmosphere. Good choice on menu at varied prices but reasonable.
