We arrived on New Years Eve when the kitchen was closed. Graham whipped us up the best curry and really looked after us. Fantastic pub with great atmosphere.

Called here with friends for a spot of afternoon tea. Plenty of space in the car park, room nicely set out and staff friendly. Not actually bring a tea drinker I had to order the prosecco version! The price was decent and the food delicious....More
Shame this has now gone to a Tea Rooms only, it was a very good restaurant when serving dinners. Still a nice atmosphere though and nice for a tete a tete or informal meeting.

Lovely eatery, good range of pies (their speciality) and other foods. Great cakes and puddings. Lovely atmosphere, fabulous service. Didn't know this place existed! Thank you, we will be back.......
friendly owners the place keeps changing but you need to try everything today nice cosy little rooms do a limited menu but do it very well the heaton pie is lovely huge portion with mash and mushy peas very nice
had a meal here with my family this evening, have never put a negative comment on trip advisor before but I have never had such a terrible meal before, warmed up microwave food no wonder the place was empty. I would not recommend anyone eating...More
