Having visited Knockagh Lodge many times and finding the food to be very good quality & well presented with friendly helpful waiting staff, we decided to bring my daughter's boyfriend along as he had never been before. I have to say on this occasion we were initially very disappointed by the 'dead area' of so called reception area which is... More

We visited over Christmas for Lunch as we hadn't been in years. We had heard there was a new menu and decided to give it a try. On entering the premises, it was so dreary and uninviting. Shutters pulled down in reception area and not a sinner around. We walked round and got a table in the conservatory. The view... More

This hotel adjoins an old people's home and there is a smell of over boiled food on the air. Not a sophisticated place by any stretch of the imagination. Basic, ordinary and old fashioned food.

Won't be back next year. Booked last number of years but this will be the last. Squashed like hens in a hen house. No room at the table. Food not great cheese cake slapped on the plate like left overs. Heat in the place sicking and prices at the bar shocking. £4 for a jug of orange.

This place could be superb given the setting! Great views over Belfast Lough but restaurant down at heel, badly maintained and not very clean. We went for lunch. Menu reads ok but on arrival food was poor, to say the least! Huge portions, badly presented and unappetising. Don't know when cooking oil was last changed but most things were, sadly,... More

Just had Sunday lunch here in the grill bar, it was excellent 10/10 guys! Thank you. We had turkey and ham dinner, superb! Our party also had chicken caesar salad with chips and a lasagne with chips! All were delicious! Then dessert, yum, pavlova and raspberry ruffle cheesecake! Really good and a few drinks! Lovely meal, polite and friendly staff... More

Overlooking Belfast lough wonderful views on a clear day. Food was good and reasonable priced nicely presented, with friendly staff. Good children's menu suited our fussy grandson.

I've recently rediscovered this place. It has the most amazing views, fantastic staff and the best chicken fajitas I have ever had. I usually go on a Sunday and the place is busy I mean really busy. Most ppl go to the buffet so it must be good too. I go to the bar. The menu is great. Something for... More

Apart from the great food and service the thing that makes us come back is their pensioners menu. Typically £9 for two courses. Highly recommended
