This is a great pub in the middle of the high street. Decent outside space. Food is fabulous. Good quality and price. Wide selection of beers and ciders etc

A very warm welcome, good beer, excellent flavours in the meals and interesting choices on the menu. Nice ambience and it wasn't too busy so we were able to find a table. Very enjoyable visit and look forward to the next time. Highly recommended!

Four of us ate here on a weekday evening in November. We booked beforehand and received a friendly welcome on arrival. There was a good selection of “proper” beers and the menu was varied. The service was very efficient and the food served hot.

All our meals were great with Kozel and Erdinger beers.. We sat in the rear dinning room. Worth turning up even though they were booked they found a table.

We eat here regularly. The food is always of the highest standard. There is great variety on the menu. The staff are always so helpful and knowledgeable. A great place that ever disappoints.

I really like independent pubs that make an effort and offer something different. I’ve never been here before and I found the menu really interesting. It’s a good sign when you have to tell the waiter to come back in a bit as you cannot...More
