Delicious lunch and very good coffee. We went at a busy time and staff were very helpful finding room for 3 adults and a baby. The farm shop has a large range of food, vegetables, meat, fish, cheese, fruit. Well worth a visit.

Restaurant was busy, so patiently waited under the 'please wait to be seated sign', not noticing that underneath it stated 'at the till', with elderly mother, toddler and baby, whilst a queue formed behind us. Must have stood there for 15 minutes, with numerous staff passing back and forth, ignoring everyone in the queue. Then noticed some regulars leaving the... More

My husband and I went for afternoon tea as a treat from my mother in law. The sandwiches and cakes were ok nothing amazing! But it was the service that most disappointed us. Miserable waitresses ( all of them) obviously not impressed with being at work. My husband and I both work in customer service roles and even if we... More

Great friendly service - great English breakfast and some other lighter choices . What makes it even more attractive is a walk through the garden centre after breakfast - we then spent an enjoyable hour in the observation hut bird watching. Breakfast and twitching - what could be better ?

Four adults, one in a wheelchair, for morning coffee and cake. Not empty but not crowded. Pleasantly and professionally attended to by staff but not overbearing. Bright, clean decor and furniture kind of conservatory style. Comfortable. Coffees and cakes very nice. Coffee could have been hotter, if I remember rightly but fine. Prices reasonable and as expected. Seemed to get... More

We arrived for a late lunch so i decided on the Half Cream tea which still included a large scone I wanted coffee instead of tea so had to pay the difference but it was not an issue. My husband ordered a bacon sandwich with chips, the portion of chips was massive! Service was good as always and the food... More

The location is very rural and pleasant, and the restaurant is great for morning coffee to a full blown lunch! Choice on the menu is wide for all tastes and the results are terrific. Relaxing place surrounded by plants and large garden with a farm shop next door to wander round and browse.

Had a delicious lunch here. The menu is quite extensive and reasonably priced (and everything sounds delicious!) Service is always top notch too, everyone is very friendly and happy to answer any questions about the food on offer. As a bonus, it's a nice little area to walk around with some sweet little shops around. It's a nice little find,... More

We were taken here for lunch whilst visiting friends nearby on a hot summer's day. A lovely setting and very polite service. We ordered baguettes from the specials board, and they were delicious. The restaurant is licensed, so you can have a nice glass of prosecco with your meal! We were surprised how reasonable the bill was, given the quality... More

The highly acclaimed Garden Restaurant is perfect for relaxing after shopping. Sink into soft leather sofas with a coffee and the newspapers, or lunch alfresco on the garden terrace and enjoy glass of wine with friends. Serving delicious home-made meals cooked from fresh local produce ensures that lunch times are always a hubbub of activity, so table bookings are strongly recommended at these busy times. Serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and light refreshments throughout the day. Everything is freshly prepared by the chef and his team, using produce from the Farm Shop and Fish Shop. We open all day and the chef regularly changes the specials board.
