Very quiet with only a few people in, but friendly welcome and good service. Good home cooked food, not trying to be fancy, also good value. Would definitely go back, will probably try Sunday Lunch after reading the good reviews!

Family group of 18 - pre booked. Excellent Sunday lunch. Lovely meat and lots of it. Fresh veg, beautifully cooked. Generous portions. Added bonus that this is a community-owned pub. Will be visiting again.

Popped in for dinner and received a warm welcome despite them having a function booked in that evening. Great food at a really reasonable cost. Nice beers and great service. Would love to revisit when next back in the area.

Yes is the simple answer. The manageress, Shelley is celiac, so very experienced in running a gluten-free kitchen. All sauces and gravies etc are available gluten-free.
