We live locally but had never visited before. Decided to go there for lunch before we set off on a long journey and we weren’t disappointed. Extensive menu and food was cooked perfectly with the added bonus that they will make changes if requested. I...have only one complaint - they aren’t open weekends when I could do with a hearty breakfast and I don’t have to go to work! But we’ll still visit whenever we get the chance.More

This cafe appeared out of the blue for us on a very long journey from south east London to Somerset.(It is on the A36).Going cross country instead of via motorway was a mistake as it was a driving nightmare on a Friday afternoon..... We were...very hungry indeed and tempers were frayed somewhat, when we saw this cafe on the road side. Even though there was a big “closed” sign on the door the owner said we could come in. Our sandwiches were delicious and our cakes the best tasting in a long time. The staff were very friendly and we went on our way much happier. We could have had what sandwiches we wanted, the guy was so obliging. He has been there for many years. I hope the cafe continues. Well done!More

We were desperate for a cup of tea and snack, having been stuck in traffic. We arrived a few minutes after it closed, but the obliging owner served our drinks and rustled up lovely sandwiches.

I have been breaking a long drive with a stop here for many years. Hillside maintains the very best of the tradition of the British roadside cafe. Good food. Clean premises. Great prices. Easy parking. Nice location.

I come here every month for a quick hearty feed! It is a truck stop so lots of customers in and out the door... good food, friendly staff and quick service.

Cardboard bacon and doughy bread. We are finding a new cafe to frequent on regular sporting visits to warminster.

We were headed to Stonehenge and found this place thanks to TripAdvisor and we were so glad we stopped in for breakfast. I eat low carb and I was delighted to find a “carb free” listing on the breakfast menu. I usually have to swap...out items or give my husband my toast, etc to get this type of combo. Great meal and filled me up until dinner time much later. My husband enjoyed his sausage breakfast. If we are ever in the area, we’d definitely stop here again. Lots of parking, easy assess right off the main road, toilets, etc. too.More
