Despite a 70's ambience and harsh lighting, the dinner was well presented and very good, with friendly staff. Needs table cloths and a fresh ambience. Shame diners chose shabby clothes - that is an insult to the chef.

The hotel is set in lovely grounds with a beautiful river walk. We had an amazing room and the dinner was first class, worthy of a Michelin star. We visited Longleat, which is very close and had a great day

I stayed in Bishopstrow hotel with my husband for the bank holiday weekend... We ate a lunch and a dinner at the restaurant and we loved it... The food and service both were amazing and I would definitely go back to eat there... Highly recommend...More

The dining room is quite stark and doesn't quite go with the rest of the hotel which is lovely. The food is servicable but not great.
