We visited here the other weekend for a Sunday lunch and the food was amazing with lovely Yorkshire puddings, cauliflower cheese and also gave you extra gravy so everything you need was thought off and good size portions. The service was great too with a nice, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Best roast I've had in a long time.

Great surroundings, great service and food top notch. Would recommend the pork crackling nibble whilst waiting for your main. Liver was amazing.

Having done my trip advisor research for lunch with my wife and nipper this place looked the best and did not disappoint. Appearance is attractive inside and out. Tables are well spaced, but beware some of the benches/settles which are not as comfortable as they look. Menu was varied, interesting and sensibly priced. We were only after a smallish meal,... A return visit to this lovely pub. Looked forward to it but very disappointed. The menu had changed drastically (new chef) and struggled to find something we fancied. Food was adequate but overpriced. The fish was overdone but when we mentioned it we were told it was dark because it was cider batter! Two of us had the ribeye.... no... More

Lovely area, lovely setting, lovely staff. Food far too overpriced at 15.00 for a roast dinner. Wish I had known how expensive I was, I wouldn't have booked. Ruined my birthday lunch as me and my partner didnt eat, made sure the children ate instead.

A lovely pub with friendly staff, we've been regular customers for a long time. A shame the food has become rather "too gastro" - the portion sizes are certainly a lot smaller than they used to be especially as far as vegetables are concerned. We still felt quite hungry when we arrived home!

Booked a table in advance, but had to wait to see if it was still available? Food was nice, but Yorkshire pudding arrived cold and accompanying roast potatoes were forgotten. So asked waitress for some and then only had three potatoes bought for three people to share ?! Did complain to waitress, who explained there were new staff and advised she... More

Three of us arrived for dinner this evening. The waiter could not answer any of our questions about the items on the menu, although he was very polite, but not at all bothered that he didn't know anything. We ordered two burgers, a steak and a mixed salad. Ten minutes later we were informed that they had run out of... More

Booked a table for our family of 5 for my husband's birthday at the suggested time (by the pub) of 7.45 which was fine as I know how hungry teenagers can be. we ordered one starter of bruschetta and 5 main courses. We were getting a little bit agitated when the starter had not arrived after 45 mins - how... More

Excellent! Lovely lunch, the roasts were delicious and the vegetables cooked to perfection. The Bromham beetroot start which I had was perfect. Dog friendly so now our "go to" place to eat out.
