A beautiful, friendly village pub, serving an entirely vegan menu. The interior feels spacious & welcoming, with stunning decor, a bright garden room, lots of plants/foliage & relaxed atmosphere. We visited on a Sunday & were very impressed with our food (x2 nut roasts & onion bhaji burger). The nut roast had a lovely savoury flavour & nice mix of textures & was served with big roast potatoes, veg & gravy. All the veg was cooked perfectly - the carrot & parsnip were caramelised without being too soft, the tenderstem broccoli & cauli cheese still had an al-dente bite & the red cabbage was full of flavour. The onion bhaji burger & seasoned chips were flavourful without being greasy. Although the portion size of the roast was fairly modest for the price (£14), everything tasted great so we will definitely be visiting again!

Absolutely amazing place. Discovered during lock down and ordered a takeout which was really good, great selection of vegan foods which you couldn't get anywhere else at the time.
Went in for a meal with a friend, her dog and my partner. Every dish was delicious. The service was excellent - even when we were being fussy about wine - the waitress was humorous and friendly.
Beautifully decorated, fast, easy, comfortable. Will definitely be back!

I’ve eaten here multiple times with either family or friends and it’s been a great experience every time.
The food is always top quality, and there’s always something new on the menu to try.
Staff are always attentive and friendly, have had lots of great chats with them and they’re always prepared to answer questions.
Perfect for vegans or non-vegans! I’ve brought non-vegan friends and they love it, no questions asked!

Personally this was my first experience of dining at a vegan only restaurant.
The grounds and inside the venue is very neat, tidy and classy. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
There are two reasons why I can’t score this a 4 or 5.
1) the lack of any sort of check-in when we began eating and overall, waiting to have our plates cleared away as we wanted someone to catch our eye so we could have pudding.
2) My chair seat was completely loose. I didn’t notice this until when sat down and having to shuffle my seat away so one of our party could walk around me. My finger got caught underneath the seat (as I was holding on to this bit of the chair thinking I was simply moving the chair away from
the table as you would when moving away from table). As a result of pulling up the chair seat, which is about an inch lift or two, one of my fingers got trapped and when I sat down….man alive, I have not felt pain like this in a while!
Two others on our table also had loose chairs but thankfully no accidents! But my fiancé is heavily pregnant and has she fallen off, you can only imagine what the ramifications would come from that.
So please management, can you either fix this or chuck those chairs away.
The food was lovely. Very nice (coming from a meat and dairy eater) I would recommend this place to anyone.
My finger is still throbbing however! But I will survive. 😊
Cheers.

We were looking forward to our first visit but we were left disappointed.
The food was good but service was not, a pleasant young lady who served us couldn’t answer our questions about the food and explained she was new, however instead of finding out the Nasser’s and letting us know our questions were ignored, I dont blame her but lack of training was evident.
We were also never asked if we wanted any drinks at any point, another lack of training.
Such a shame our first experience was not so good as the food was unique and tasty.

I'm not sure the 'vegan pub' description is fitting as this is very much set up like a restaurant. However, the decor is lovely, the place has a real buzz (absolutely packed on a Sunday afternoon) and like other people have mentioned it is spotlessly clean. I'm not vegan or vegetarian but enjoy food. The Harp and Crown happened to be on a walking route of mine last weekend so I dropped in for a small bite and a beer. I'm not sure if the drinks menu is all vegan like the food , but they certainly have a good range of interesting non-alcoholic drinks. I had the cauliflower 'buffalo wings' with ranch dressing. The coating was tasty, if a tad too spicy, and the ranch dressing had detectable dill and chives in, which was nice. However I couldn't help feeling that an Indian restaurant could have done nicer things to a cauliflower, like a pakora or a bhaji, and made it more crispy and interesting. The coating was a tad slimy when it should be crisp and charred. Also - and this is my main problem with vegan food - it was £6 for about 5 small pieces of cauliflower. However, the overall menu looked very interesting, it has had very good reviews overall, and it was rammed with people of all ages and types. So it is obviously doing something right and I am curious to have another stab.

Thank you for taking the time to review our pub, we can confirm everything on site including the drinks menu is vegan. Our menu changes weekly but the cauliflower wings remain a constant as a best seller, we currently have a BBQ sauce on which is a less spicy variation. Hope to see you again soon.

This was our first visit for a Sunday roast on the recommendation of our son and his girlfriend. We booked a table in the restaurant section for 12 so quite early which was just as well as getting quite busy by the time we left about 1.30. Staff very friendly and the interior of this pub is beautiful. We had the roast, one with the nut roast and one with the meatless loaf, both tasty. Vegetables were great especially the large roasted carrot and parsnip. I would say that the potatoes could have been better, tasted a little re-heated? We are fussy with roast spuds though and unless they are really fluffy on the inside with a crisp outer, we are hard to please! For puddings I had the choc brownie with ice cream (delicious) and my husband had the Affogato, which was ok. We paid a tip as we were very happy with the service but didn't notice until we checked at home, that we had been charged for a sticky toffee pudding rather than the Affogato. Just meant a £1.50 overcharge which I am sure they would have rectified if we'd noticed the error at the time. Just a good idea to check if the place is getting busy :) We would definitely return and it was great knowing that everything was vegan, not having to ask if this is ok or that is ok.

Fantastic lunch out with my brother (flexitarian) sister in law (vegetarian). We sat in the pub garden which was beautiful, tables were well spaced out which is great in covid times but it is also really nice to ensure you can enjoy conversations in private.
Before discussing the food special shout out to the staff who were all lovely and friendly!
The food is lovely, I love the fact the menu is updated to ensure for limited waste and seasonal. The cauliflower wings are absolutely lush!! As too was the macaroni cheese and tempeh bacon. I haven't had macaroni cheese in a while as I haven't liked the vegan cheese sauces I have tried. However, not this one! I have no idea how they did it but it was absolutely gorgeous! We also loved the tostadas, a really tall order as 2 out of the 3 of us aren't usually keen on mushrooms.
We also tried the chocolate tart with peanut brittle. This was lush and very rich!
My next visit will probably be with my parents one of who is gluten free. However, from the looks of their menu today this will not be a problem most of their current menu appears to be suitable!

We were so delighted with this choice of venue for a family dinner. Our server Jess could not have been more smiley or agreeable and made us feel very welcome. Our meals were all delicious, fresh and flavoursome. The option to select two ‘small plates’ in place of a main course means you can tailor-make your meal - the creamy macaroni cheese with carrot salad was a great combo. The Buddha bowl is a triumph of simple, fresh ingredients. Granny was happy to take half her tagine away in a box too! We were celebrating an engagement and it was fun to get a brownie with a candle and a message piped on the plate. If we lived in Corsham this would be our go-to place to eat time after time.

I’ve visited twice with my elderly father and both times we’ve had a wonderful experience. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the decor is beautiful, the food is totally delicious and prices really reasonable. My Dad loves the fried banana blossom (but can’t get over eating such an unusual food) and I have had a couple of really tasty small plates because I can’t choose just one! We will definitely be back.

Great, encapsulates the experience. Had not booked met by a very friendly team member called Jess, who said she'd be able to accomidate us, but asked the table be returned in 1.30h not a problem for us. Throughout she provided friendly and efficient service, as others have said nothing was too much. The food and drink was lovely. Though we ordered way too much, but couldn't decide what to pick on their Great menu. Chips were clearly handcut and made in house and best vegan cheese I've had. Loved the mac and cheese and coleslaw!
Beautiful pub garden too full of lots of pretty flowers perfect for nature. For smokers there is a smoking shelter separate from the beer garden which is nice for those who do not smoke and for those that do.
I would definitely go back!

Lovely food in very nice surroundings. It's so good to see a vegan pub doing so well. It's in a great location, close enough to the M4 that it's going to be a regular stop off now when heading to the southwest. As an added bonus, they have 2 7kW car chargers, which are free to use (a rarity these days). I put 10kWh of juice into the car, which was very handy for the onward journey. This would have equated to about £5 worth at regular public charging rates, but knowing I was benefiting from this, I more than covered the cost by buying much more food than we really needed, but have no regrets, as it was delicious! More places need to understand that allowing customers to use chargers for free buys them a lot of goodwill, and customers will spend more in their establishment as a result. An absolute gem of a place, and we can't wait to return!

We specifically camped near this pub to visit for dinner and again for lunch the next day as we wanted to try both the weekday menu and a Sunday roast - it was so worth it. All the staff were lovely, the food was delicious, they had a tasty session ale on tap, and our dog was very welcome and comfortable. Can’t wait to plan our next trip so we can visit again!

Beautiful pub, great service and friendly team members! The menu was limited however a menu that you want a bit of everything ☺️. The small plates were devoured instantly, who knew cauliflower could actually taste so great, the sweet potato bruschetta was delish as was the garlic hummus! Our party of 6 (2 were kids) and we had an array of Tofu poke bowls, Kebab and burger! Everyone enjoyed their mains and the kids ate what they could manage. The burgers were adult portions so the adults also got to enjoy a vegan burger on top of everything else.
The pub itself is very inviting, relaxing and got sky TV for sports and small play area outside in the garden area for the kids! A great spot for a drink pre/post lunch/dinner!
Highly recommend and thank you!

As we're all going through another lockdown where all pubs are currently closed, we ordered a takeaway. We both had 'fish'and chips, with a portion of dirty fries, all of which were delicious. The batter was the crispiest we've had for years, so thumbs up for that. The 'fish' is banana blossom and very tasty. What's more, the takeaway packaging is all recyclable (one of the reasons we have stopped buying Chinese and Indian takeaways). We will definitely be going when the pub has reopened to sample the full imaginative menu. (OH is vegetarian, me not but the no-meat and no-dairy menu is not a barrier to sampling delicious food.) Well done to the owners.
