We ordered and collected our food. Part of our order was Special Fried Rice, when we got home we had just egg fried rice, but had been charged for the special. The meal was OK, a little bit greasy. We have used this takeaway in the past and think that it has gone downhill. Sad.

Our first visit here. Everything was excellent. Duck in plum sauce, Singapore noodles, king prawns in yellow bean sauce and kung po chilli chicken. Great flavour, nothing greasy. Pleasantly surprised after reading some of the reviews. Will definitely visit again.

Cannot believe some of the negative reviews here. I have been going to Hong Kong House in Corsham, since I moved here in 1986, at least once per month. Never had a bad one yet. The prawn chow mein I had on Saturday night was so delicious I almost held the plastic carton up to my mouth. There is no other chinese takeaway in the whole area that compares to Hong Kong House

Went to Hong Kong house for the first time . They messed up my order so had to go back after I got home , I only ordered 4 dishes ! The food was vile chicken chow mein was half bean sprouts and expensive . Chicken balls were nearly all batteries expensive and my lemon chicken was hardly any chicken the lemon sauce was bitter . Poor quality high price ! AVOID !

Phoned up to order, for collection. Explained we had a severe shellfish allergy, swapped out the dishes that had any prawns etc and we were told this would be fine. Get home to realise it is FULL of prawns and was completely ignored. I sent them a message a day later and it seems not important enough to respond too. An apology would of been fine. Do not use if you have any dietary requirements. It was a good job we checked the food first.

we have been regular customers of this takeaway for at least 10 years.
food was always of good quality.
service also good.
however since the owners father was taken ill both have gone downhill.
we had steak and chips from there last night and to be blunt disgusting.
we threw most of it in bin.
we have two dogs even their food looked more palatable.
we will never buy food from there again and strongly urge you to think twice before you do.

Not sure what’s going on here but used to be a fab takeaway but it had gone right downhill recently. We’ve had two orders that have been wrong recently, another order that was practically cold, and the food seems to have become very bland. Such a shame but I prefer to drive the extra few miles to Chippenham for a Chinese takeaway now - food much better, still hot despite the drive back to Corsham, and the orders are right first time. Sorry Hong Kong House but you’ve lost a family of customers.

Order is always wrong, very rude on the phone you ring up and he sounds so miserable, you tell him you have an allergy and he always goes “yep” . Order is constantly messed up, usually very quick to go cold. Sweet and sour sauce just tastes like hot sugar. Won’t be wasting my money here again. With having a severe allergy and the order being wrong everytime it’s not something I want to keep happening if he can’t listen to an order, he definitely won’t listen to an allergy.

Went to an event at the Pound in Corsham which went on longer than expected so decided to grab a quick takeaway to feed the kids. Possibly the worst Chinese takeaway I’ve ever had. Appetisers dry and tiny, special chow mien was everything but, chicken satay was runny and bland. Won’t be going back…

Going for my daughter's first ever Chinese takeaway tonight, so the best Chinese in all of Wiltshire is a must. Food and service is always incredible and my daughter has looking forward to her first chicken chow mein

First time using this takeaway as others are not open on a Monday. We were very impressed, really good food and portion sizes, all very reasonably priced. Service was excellent and on time as arranged during the phone order. Will definitely be using them again ahead of previously used similar takeaways!

Our go to Chinese takeaway even after we moved house, worth the trip excellent all our favourites tasting as they should would recommend very friendly family run always have a smile for you

Was given raw duck that I then had to cook myself. Food is clearly not cared for, there is no consideration for customer safety and satisfaction. Never again will I go here, it cannot compare to our favourite shop.
