Worst Indian food I have ever had. We spent over £100 on take away food for a family get together and most of it went straight in the bin. It was sloppy, tasteless and unappetising. Even the rice was awful it must take a special...talent to ruin rice! Our family who live in Chesterfield who recommended it were disappointed and said they would not be going back.More
Brilliant takeaway we had from this restaurant last night. We had been to a Mansfield town football match and seen that fans rate it. Telephoned order through, ready in 35mins on a busy Saturday night. Garlic chicken delicious, onion bhajees big and golden. Prices extremely...good value. Would like to return to eat in next time. We were stranded in Chesterfield due to all trains being cancelled due to Storm Babet so needed somewhere to eat. We looked at other eateries in the area and opted for Indian Blues and am I glad we did. It was fabulous. It was cooked...well, full of flavour, plentiful and a reasonable price. The only downside was the starter came with what looked like prepacked salad that had started to liquify around the edges of the lettuce. Not very appealing so I gave that a miss. Try the Chicken Chat starter, Mango Chilli Chicken and Cheese nan - you won't be disappointed.More
Was in town for the Football and asked numerous Chesterfield fans as to the best Indian restaurant in town and this was the most popular one amongst their answers. Absolutely spot on in their assessment. Four of us visited and had a good range of...curries and sides plus a special of the decent menu. Very friendly and knowledgeable waiter who was very attentive.More
Well, this place just keeps coming up trump! Very tasty meal, not one I have had before but it certainly hit the mark. The place is tidy, clean and efficient.
Great food and the atmosphere was fantastic. The waitress that served us made the night even more memorable. The restaurant accommodated our little requests without any quibble, which helped us celebrate a special friend’s 65th birthday. Looking forward to going back soon.
AMAZIN is all I can say. Been coming here for 25 year. Raj the owner is what we call a friend. You cannot get a better meal anywhere in this country. This is exceptional food. Credit to Raj and his staff. Keep up the good...food 🙏❤️More
Well another very tasty, hot meal. The flavour in my special lamb dish were incredible, the meat was soo deliciously tender. Came quickly after being ordered and with great service. My friends dish, was also very spicy and hot.
Had a mix of starters and a chicken dish and lamb dish to try out between the two of us. Bhajis very good recommend. Meat very tender rice tasty naan breads very small and below average. Lovely meal just lacking atmosphere or attentive service -don’t...like to be pestered but like to feel they might recognise us if we went back not a chance showed no interest in customers.More
Absolutely stunning, freshly cooked food, we had to wait a little longer for our mains but it was well worth it! Lovely ambiance and excellent value 10/10 thank you 😊
I popped in here with a friend, it's always been a good Indian restaurant and this meal was no exception. Tasty, filling and I didn't leave a morsel which is unusual for me as Indian food can normally be a little heavy this wasn't. Staff...and service excellent, even cooking a dish not on the menu.More
Takeaway Absolutely unreal curry rice and garlic Nan. You have to try the AD special tikka curry It’s chicken tikka pathia with green chillies and boiled egg. Topped with a garlic Nan you won’t go wrong. Best ever!! Don’t thank me people
We've always loved this restaurant but last night was disappointing in more ways than one 😕 The 'menu' is now one side of flimsy card....I even joked to my hubby that he'd booked us in for an early bird special. What we ordered was still...delicious and the same quality ( cheese rice amazing) but the special naan bread was tiny, more like a fatbread and at £3.50 just really disappointing. On chatting to the owner he explained that in the current financial climate he has had to shave down the menu considerably to be able to stay open. That's completely understandable but there were 4 'waitresses' just sat around the bar chatting the whole time we were there, in fact one of them never even moved once off her stool ....seemed such a waste paying them all to do nothing whilst the food prices have risen 😥 We did ask the owner if he could do us a favourite dish ( not listed on the new menu ) to takeaway and he happily agreed saying they can still do any of the original menu dishes upon request. The takeout was ready for when we left and according to my son was just as delicious as ever though 🙂More

Brilliant food.... but the service! Ha ha I honestly thought we were being filmed, it was like the Indian restaurant version of fawlty towers
