We decided to try Sandros for a family meal after reading the reviews. We weren’t disappointed!
We went on a Tuesday night and opted to try the 3 course meal with a drink for £15. What a bargain. The service was superb, not too fast or too slow.
The quality and the portions were excellent. Can’t believe we only paid £15 per head when you pay this for a main course at most large chain Italian restaurants.
We’ll be back!

Excellent. This establishment is obviously a former terraced house and the owner is the Cook, Waiter and Chief Bottle Washer. It specialises in Italian food and although not what you would call posh the food and service is first class and clean. Very friendly and there is a Spirit licence. It is Child friendly and I found it quite atmospheric. I would definitely like to go there again.

The BEST meal of 2023 we’ve had. Honestly just such comforting and delicious food. Friendly service and just homey interior, we are making this such a regular spot!!!! The price is unreal, couldn’t believe it when we got the bill would have happily paid double and not batted an eyelid!! MUST VISIT!!

We visited this restaurant on the 31st Jan 2020. The food was spot on. Not many in which was a shame. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We shall be returning soon. Staff very friendly prices very reasonable. All in all lovely evening. Give it a try you won'tbe disappointed.

1st visit to sandros and wont be the last , really friendly host , fantastic food and very reasonable.

We visited on a Saturday night with a party of 7 for a birthday. Although the restaurant was full the service was excellent and not at all slow. Food was delicious and staff were friendly, prices reasonable. We will be returning!

This is the second time I’ve been to this lovely little gem, hidden in the main streets of Clowne. The evening was booked for my sons 18th birthday which 23 people attended. Everyone pre-booked their meals - most chose the 3 for £15 menu which included a free glass of wine. Got to the restaurant and they were happy to hide my son’s birthday cake and put some candles on for us. The staff were so helpful and friendly and made a lovely atmosphere. The food itself was hot, fresh and delicious and everyone got exactly what they ordered - no mistakes on such a large party. At the end of the meal they brought out my son’s cake and sang happy birthday. Thankyou so much Sandros for making it such a great night, it was very special! Xx

Evening visit with partner after recommendation from a friend. Wednesday night special £15 for three courses and a drink, Excellent value and very good food. Especially impressed with the coconut cake. Will definitely go again,

The little restaurant is perfect, allowing it not to get too overcrowded but also allowing Sandro to be able to provide the best service. I went with my sister and we were able to enjoy the atmosphere of the Italian music in a traditional Italian restaurant setting while able to catch up and enjoy each others company. The food is amazing value for money. The portions huge and the flavours tasteful and not over bearing. I definitely recommend this restaurant for any occasion, date night? 10/10. Birthday meal 10/10. Family night 10/10. I'm glad this restaurant has managed to last so long and wish it stays

Six of us attended this restaurant this evening. I thought the food was excellent and would have given 5* but the others rated it a little lower and the rating reflects the views altogether. Very tasty, reasonable prices, great variety and served reasonably promptly. I chose this restaurant on the basis of the reviews, I'm glad I did. It was a great ending to a family day. Parking on the road is non existent, suggest parking on Church Street car park which is a parallel road and free.

Easily one of the best Italian meals I have had in a long time. Can not recommend enough.
The three course deal on a Tuesday and Wednesday is excellent value for money considering the exceptional quality of the food.
I will be returning and I recommend you try it out too!

Been coming to Sandro's for years after our neighbours recommended it to us when we moved to the area! Absolutely love the authentic Italian food and the atmosphere here is so relaxed and welcoming!
