Quick and efficient but friendly service. Good range on offer for lunch which was very reasonably priced for a Bakewell establishment.

Popped into this delightful cafe on a cold Tuesday morning. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The heaters were on which was welcome. Just ordered plain hot chocolate they came quickly and were lovely. Seating upstairs as well as separate toilets.

We wanted breakfast with free range eggs and were amazed to find so many cafes in Bakewell still serving the cruel type of eggs. We asked in several and our spirits were beginning to droop when, thank goodness, we found this lovely little cafe which does serve free range eggs. The whole breakfast was beautifully cooked, too. The cakes looked... More

Friendly coffee shop / snack bar in the centre of Bakewell. Had a good breakfast cooked to order and nothing too much trouble.

After walking around the wonderful place that is Bakewell, with so much to see, including the lovely varied shops, and waterways, and bridge with the love padlocks on, managed to finally choose an establishment that did afternoon tea. There seems to be lots of places that do afternoon tea in Bakewell, and all at a wife variety of prices, so really take your... More

We visited in November on a bitterly cold Saturday. We were seated immediately and were treated very well by the staff. Lovely, simple food which warmed us all up. Really nice atmosphere and a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Will definitely return

Called for lunch after walking the Monsal Trail and really enjoyed the stop. We all had the breakfast oatcake - a lovely warm oatcake, deliciously thick slices of bacon, sausage full of flavour with scrambled egg, mushroom and tomato! Our waitress was really helpful and friendly, gave us plenty of time to study the menu, but made sure we had... More

The biggest afternoon tea I have ever had or seen OMG it was huge!!!!!! The sandwiches were nice in top and and average sized. Then there was the monster cake selection! Seriously - I'm fat and my mum and I couldn't even manage them all. Very nice as well. It may have lacked some finesse of more traditional afternoon tea's... More

The service was excellent. We really cannot complain. Super quick, friendly delicious food, and fresh brewed coffee . We did not have to wait for 20 mins for our bacon butties , which were served quickly , and with no hassle. Delicious and hot. yum yum.

We decided on Afternoon Tea and what a tea this was! If anything this was too large, but packed with sumptuous goodies. There were 4 sets of Sandwiches, all fresh and tasty. A scone with lots of Jam and Cream then cakes galore. We also were offered endless drinks, including coffee! A simply magnificent Tea!
