The Cock & Pullet is not fancy, just a great traditional character pubs. The food is good standard fayre at very reasonable prices. As usual in these parts the Real Ale is wonderful. This place is definitely worth a visit.
The staff here are very warm and friendly. They did go out of there way to make sure we got good service and the food when we wanted. The atmposphere was good and friendly enough. However the food was average at best.

Always a warm welcome at this family run village (Sheldon) pub. Good range on the menu, from sandwiches to roast and veg, all freshly cooked, lunch and early evening. A favourite with walkers and dog friendly. Car park at the rear.
