Popped in after a long day at Chatsworth, ordered sausage and chips twice and two portions of chips - a tenner! Jesus! Food wasn't bad to be fair but bloody expensive in my opinion. Place looked rather messy - floor was awash with chips and...More

Called in for takeaway fish chips and curry supper, we were served by a pleasant man and served quickly but on opening my chip paper I could smell curry but there was only a miniscule amount on my meal and no I hadn't spilled any...More

Had a takeout from here. The fish was excellent but very dispointed about the chips. The chips were rock hard and not edible. For the price of fish and chips with mushy peas would have expected better chips. Not worth the money

The haddock was Ok as was the steak pie but half the chips were rock hard - burnt to a cinder. Wouldn't recommend I'm afraid.

Good value for money, nice staff. We all had cod being southerners, apparently haddock is the preferred dish in Derbyshire. This wasn't the best fish and chips but was a welcome meal after a long journey.

Visited about 6.30pm on a Tuesday evening. The staff were very good - allowed us to use their toilet facilities, even though their 'sitting in' area was closed. Fast service, although it was very quiet at the time. Fish was lovely, chips not too bad....More
