We Visited this place on Friday night after our b&b recommended it and we were so pleased we did. The staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive throughout. A good choice on the menu but I would highly recommend the hanging chicken kebab, simply delicious!!!

I had looked forward to a meal here with my family. Had popped in once before for a snack which had been excellent, and eagerly anticipated attacking the full menu. Overall, the food my family ordered was good, although my review is dragged down by...More

Eleven of us booked for a meal on Friday night. The food and service were great. The prawn tempura starter was one of the best many of us had tasted. Every one of us enjoyed our meals. Delightful service.

We had a delicious meal here, I had the seafood pasta and my husband had the belly pork. The meals came hot and were really tasty and well presented dishes. Would visit again and would love to try more of the menu.

Popped in after a brisk walk in Bakewell for lunch and the atmosphere was very lively and welcoming. We had steak and bangers and mash and both meals were great and we both cleared our plates. Great location, friendly staff, and very good food.

Family meal plus dog. Favourite course was mussel starter but all food was great and very friendly staff. Pub is a little tired in terms of decor but food is great.

Visited with 3 mates after a day’s walking. A few hundred yards away from town centre so full of locals. Food and service were great. Highlights were goats cheese starter, cod loin, hanging kebabs and pork belly. Really recommend!!!
