We had been told that this was the best dining experience in Bakewell by several of the locals that we know. As I write it is still top of all the restaurants in Bakewell but perhaps Piedaniel's is living on its reputation and resting on...More

A return visit and the service, friendliness and food are just as good as ever. I had a crab cake for starters and liver for main course. It was so tasty.

Reserved a table for three people on Saturday lunchtime, as we have been here before and really enjoyed it. We all ordered the fish and chips from the lunch menu at £13.00. The fish was the most pathetic and pitiful example of “fish and chips”...More

Hi Dee We're not near the Lake District, we're based in Bakewell in the Peak District. Both our menus change regularly every 5-7weeks, these are updated on our website.
