We stopped by The Old Inn recently for Sunday Lunch (2 adults and a child) - We have visited this pub several times over the years, but sadly I think this will be the last as our meal was very disappointing. It was the later side of service but I phoned first and was told it wasn't too late and... More

Lovely old pub, pleasant staff, good coffee, not overpriced. Lovely fire on a cold January day. Definitely recommend.

We booked a meal at another pub down the road, but wished we'd booked here, only realising when we popped in on the way. The menu looked really nice, especially the specials menu. We sat in the bar in front of the wonderful open fireplace, on a cold December night. Coming from London, we're used to free wifi, so the... More

After spending the day with my wife and daughter Christmas shopping in Exeter, we decided to stop off and try the food, for the first time. What an absolute delight. The food was excellent. Thank you from a disillusioned caterer.

Booked a table for two and arrived in time at this attractive Inn. First impressions were that this was a typical old coaching inn and expectation was high. However the "restaurant" part was full with a hen party and we were stuffed on a small table in the bar. Soon to be buried in noisy teenagers who totally ruined the... More

We came here for supper and a beer or two. We were with Brit Stops and I have to say the welcome was lovely. We parked up and then went in to eat, we hadn't booked a table (the restaurant is quite small) but they were very kind and said that we would get a table as soon as one... More
