I loved this place. Great food without the unnecessary pomp that you might get in similar establishments. the scallops for main course were delicious and fabulously presented. also, the fillet steak was a treat and perfectly cooked. House red was also very palatable. Would go back in a flash.

We visited Mulcahys on Sunday and Found possibly one of the best restaurants in Ireland. The staff were exceptional and the food out of this world.

Everything we had here (risotto, scallops, goat cheese, special apple pie dessert - amazing) was delicious and beautifully presented. My only drawback is the atmosphere of the restaurant -- it's a very contemporary style that just isn't my taste and felt a little out of place for the area to me (might not bother others). Service was very good.

Had supper here recently with my cousin and respective other halves. The food was very tasty and high quality, the service was attentive and respectful which all added to a fantastic evening. The place was buzzing on Saturday evening, full of locals and tourists so its got something right. Some of us got the belly pork and it was the... More

It was excellent, unpretentious, great food beautifully presented, with superb friendly service. From the moment I tasted the tiny Amuse Bouche which caused an explosion of flavours to assault my senses to the last final crunch of the amazing Baked Alaska, this was a culinary delight! So do I recommend it? Oh, that would be a yes then...

We arrived, without a reservation after we had walked from Killarney to Kenmare on the Kerry Way walking route. We were made most welcome. The house cooked brown bread and olive garlic tapenade really tasty. We had the fillet steak and cod main dishes, both were cooked to perfection. The accompanying vegetables of sugar snap peas, pureed carrot and crocket... More

Booked table of seven for our nieces 17th birthday. Everything was perfect, from the service at the bar to the excellent food and fast and brilliant service. The restaurant was full at the time but you would not have known it, very relaxed but very efficient. Everyone enjoyed every aspect of the food and a great time was had by... More
