This is a busy pub restaurant that provides live music, we visited quite early in the evening having not booked , we were shown a warm welcome and table. The food was promptly served, it was of a good quality and the four of us enjoyed the meal and atmosphere, we did in fact return later in the week.

I was very very impressed as the food was serve on nice hot plates and the portions were nice and big. There is a great choice of beers available but... More

Our family of 6 made a reservation at The Coachman's Bar and Restaurant to enjoy some Irish music. We all ordered different entrees and they arrived hot and delicious. The best part of our evening was listening to the Irish music while we ate. If you want a good meal along with entertainment you will not be disappointed if you... More

We had the salmon and the to-die-for goat cheese and fig tartlets - the latter was incredibly good! I find the food in Ireland uniformly good and fresh, but this was the best thing I had on my entire trip! This is a warm and welcoming place with live music, and only a short walk from our B&B on Shelbourne... More

We had dinner here our first night in Kenmare, based on the menu we saw on the sidewalk. We were on the early side (6 or 6:30ish) and the place was mostly empty, but we had our choice of tables so we sat directly across from the small stage. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. We shared smoked salmon... More

salmon was perfectly cooked with cream (maybe dill) sauce, mashed potatoes(of course), and mixed yummy fresh vegetables. Dessert was so delicious - pear and almond tort with fresh whipped cream. I am salivating...
