Really enjoyed watching sports here last Saturday - rugby and GAS. Great atmosphere in the bar with lots of people. Then had a tasty meal afterwards in the bar once the carvery ended.

Spent the day watching rugby in this normally good sports bar.Very disappointing that the sound system linked to the big screen in the main bar wasn't working today. Great timing. Not!

I often call in here for dinner. Food is served al la carte, you tell chef what you want and he puts whatever you want on plate. What I get is always tasty and hot, service is quick which is usually what I like. Always busy but plenty of room to sit and eat. I've gone out a couple of... More

Myself and my extended family visited this restaurant on Thursday night and it definitely didn't disappoint. The menu is extensive with many choices including meats, fish and vegetarian options. The fatija wrap was so tasty and the chips were to die for also. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the waitresses were extremely helpful, they brought crayons and... More

The broken jug is in the centre of Ballina and parking is handy to it. My wife and I visited with our boys 15 & 11, on Friday 17/02/17 for an evening meal, about 7pm. This is a very friendly pub with dining area. I don't write alot of these reports, but felt the need to in this case as... More

The Broken Jug was an unexpected delight with great staff and service, live music, middling rowdy atmosphere at the bar enough to be entertaining, and a great meal. The food was tasty and as a... This is a very big vintage style pub in the centre of town yet feels welcoming and cosy . Make sure you are hungry if you have the carvery option here as the portions are huge and delicious . The catering manager Mia [I think] was on hand to take care of us as we were a large party and... More
