I come here often and am never disappointed. Ample veggie choices and attentive waiters. One of the best places to eat in Dublin!

Apart from one grumpy waiter, food was wonderful. The food was wonderful, especially palak paneer, sublime

Was in Kajjal Saturday 17th December for family meal, serving staff very attentive & helpful. Made sure we didn't order too much food. Food was excellent & couldn't fault anything. Great atmosphere & nice selection of wines. Will definitely return.

Kajjal is the most authentic Indian/Pakistani restaurant in the north Dublin area. The Pakistan influence is hugely influential in the Kajjal menu. The service are extremely friendly and knowledgable about the menu. They always give great advice about what to order when asked based on your individual tastes. The restaurant is expensive but the quality of the food is outstanding.... More

I came in on an early Saturday evening to a half empty restaurant yet needed to request to be sitted at a table and no at the bar as I was suggested. The manu did not follow me and needed to ask for it after sitting for 10 minuets. I decided to vegeterian for the day and ordered palak paneer... More

No doubt it's our favourite restaurant. Food is just amazing! And there's a good choice of starters and main courses. The average price for a starter is 6-8€, for the main course 22-25€ which is really not that much if you dine there every now and again and never regret a penny spent. This time we went for Saturday evening... More

We arrived a bit late (Ireland were demolishing New Zealand) - the very pleasant person who met at the entrance had no problem with the delay. Restaurant was very busy. Service and food was wonderful. If you do not like your food too spicy they cook it to taste. Flavours are great, atmosphere excellent and we were offered a drink... More

Having been to Kajal many times over the last few years the food has always been consistent. The staff and I must state not all have become some what unfriendly which is a shame.. to discuss what tables left you tip wise in ear shot of customers is a big NO to me and to also pick up the bill... Slightly pricey but a lovely meal in nice surroundings. Plus there are good desserts, which isn't usual in South Asian restaurants!

This is a very expensive restaurant that serves very average food. The staff are so arrogant it's unbelievable. My server even questioned his own bill when he though it was incorrect even though it was prepared by his colleague in response to an issue that I had. I won't be going back
