Visited kinsale 26 April with my wife and young kids, stopped in for fish and chips in dinos, was looking forward to a nice takeaway, we left and drove a short distance to enjoy the food, my fish and chip was the worst I have ever tasted, the fish batter resembled plaster in its taste and texture, I have never... Have eaten here recently and the ambience and serving staff are wonderful. Welcoming and happy ! Best Chicken Maryland anywhere. Grilled fish also available if you don't like batter.

Lunch for two in the fish restaraunt. Service was good and the fish and chips were as good as you will get anywhere. The decor is great with the feel of boats and the sea.

Came here with family whilst visiting from England. Beautifully cooked cod, light batter just melted in the mouth. Had with salad rather than chips, which was fresh and in a good dressing. Thoroughly enjoyable. Restaurant was busy, we were there about 5pm on Saturday. Didn't have to wait for a table however.

The restaurant looks better on the inside than on the outside, the staff were nice and despite a busy time, our food came swiftly. The portions were generous and the fish was fresh and tender. Most dishes are battered and they come with enormous amounts of chips, but one can find a grilled plaice or sole as a lighter option.... More

Went there recently enough and was pleasantly surprised by the new layout. It was my first time back there since they had done it up and i must say it is a great improvement. The staff were friendly as usual and the food was delicious! I'd always recommend the fish and chips to all!

Good sized portions, very light batter unlike some other reviewers it was not greasy, huge portion of chips and a small amount of mushy peas(could do with a few more).

Visited here for dinner with my partner and would give it top marks all round. Nice bright clean surroundings, very efficient friendly staff and reasonably priced dishes from fish to chicken and beef. We had prawns to start and ordered the monkfish special which was to die for came with a very nice generous salad and chips too. Our order... More
