From the outside it looks non-imposing. But inside it's a much bigger building. The food is very good. Highly recommend the pizzas which are freshly made. Sandwiches are available but I found the seafood chowder excellent. Good prices and good service

Given that Kinsale in the summer time and good weather is packed but shop owners should know it. The place is not very big but has an outside space which lead the limited amount of staff to divide themselves between the inside and outside areas. Was there for over 15 minutes(inside) waiving vigorously to staff members to no joy. Ended... More

We stumbled upon this cafe by chance as there were 8 of us and 2 spare tables outside. Whilst the kids had chips and burgers, 3 of us had the seafood chowder which was very very good, filled with fish, thick and creamy, served with soda bread. We found the service very good considering the place was full, particularly a... More

Had a quick lunch on a Sunday, everything tasted good and fresh. Service was good. Prices are good for what you get.

I'll start with the positives. The staff were lovely and its a nice location with outside seating. I ordered a chicken salad and coffee. The coffee was absolute terrible but I would get over that. What really annoyed me was the chicken salad, it was literally the worst thing I have eaten in about 8 years. Ice-berg lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber... More

Being from Cork city, it's always nice to take a drive to Kinsale when the weather is good. Today was one of those days, we decided to try The Milk Market Cafe for a bit of lunch. It was our first time dining here and also it will be our last. The supposed side salad was nothing short of disgusting.... More

The outdoor area is lovely but the service is off (guy banging dishes and moving chairs while my arm was on it)! Plus the coffee tastes really weird. We both thought so and one of us had an Americano. We both left our coffees behind which has never happened us before. So I wouldn't recommend I have to say though... More

Stopped by today as we were having difficulty getting the combination of a sandwich and a glass of wine. The waiter was very pleasant, offering to keep our bottle chilled as we ate. We had the fish cake and side salad...delicious...and sat among many apparently happy customers in very welcome shade. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

A good meal, with larger portions and at a good price. We came in for some small bites a bites and we're pleased with the food, service and atmosphere.
